| DEADMAN BAY RECORDS FIRST RELEASE, the Wind on the Prairie, the Wind on the Sea by Stephen Brooke is temporarily unavailable -- we have not been satisfied with the product from Cafe Press and intend to offer the CD directly as soon as we can! |

| Where is Deadman Bay and why are we using this name? Along the 'Big Bend' of Florida's Gulf Coast, where the peninsula joins the panhandle, lies Deadman Bay. There, the Steinhatchee River meets the Gulf of Mexico in one of Florida's last wild and undeveloped areas. The founder of Deadman Bay Records, Stephen Brooke, lived there for many years and felt the name reflected Florida's untamed spirit and was well suited for a company that centered its being around the promotion of Florida music and musicians, in particular the folk artists and songwriters who speak of the state's history and life. |
